Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 29, 2026

These disclosures describe CardMintory's intended operations. Review them against your actual providers, retention settings, and business practices before publishing.

1. Information we collect

When you register, we receive account information such as your email address and authentication identifiers. If you choose Google sign-in, Google may share basic profile information authorized by you. We collect the card photos, card descriptions, inventory details, purchase costs, sales records, and other content you choose to save. Technical records may include request timestamps, usage counts, and diagnostic information necessary to operate and protect the service.

2. How we use information

We use information to authenticate you, maintain your inventory, process card scans and listing drafts, track subscription allowances, support your account, detect abuse, and improve the reliability of CardMintory.

3. AI processing and card images

When you request AI card identification or listing assistance, the images and details you submit may be processed by an AI service provider to generate results. AI output may be inaccurate; review card identification, condition, grading, and pricing before using it. Do not upload sensitive personal information in card images or notes.

4. Service providers

CardMintory uses third-party infrastructure and service providers for hosting, authentication, data storage, AI processing, fraud prevention, and payments. These may include Netlify, Supabase, OpenAI, Cloudflare, Google (when you select Google sign-in), and Stripe (when you purchase a subscription). Their handling of information is also governed by their own policies and the arrangements in place with CardMintory. Payment card details are handled through Stripe's payment systems rather than entered into CardMintory's own inventory database.

5. Data access and sharing

We do not intentionally make your private inventory publicly visible. We may disclose information to service providers as needed to operate CardMintory, to comply with applicable law, or to protect the service and its users. We do not describe your card photos or inventory as publicly listed merely because you generate a draft for an external marketplace.

6. Storage and retention

Account and inventory information may remain stored while your account is active and for a period afterward where needed for backups, billing records, security, legal obligations, or dispute resolution. Exact deletion and backup retention periods depend on the applicable service settings. You can export inventory using available account tools and request assistance with account-data questions using the contact information below.

7. Security

We use access controls and security features intended to protect customer accounts and saved data, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your sign-in credentials secure and contact us if you suspect unauthorized account access.

8. Your choices

You may choose email/password or an available third-party sign-in method. You can review and update inventory data through the app, and you may request information about accessing or deleting personal data by contacting us. Your rights may vary depending on where you live.

9. Children

CardMintory is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the service or applicable requirements change. The current version will be posted here. Questions or privacy requests: Cardmintory@gmail.com.
